It's summer now and the weather is perfect for this time of year. But every now and then it's too hot and you want to cool the air in your house somehow. I have small kids, so I prefer not to use air conditioning because I consider it dangerous for their health. That is why I use a ceiling fan, which is both effective and fun. It is fun and perfect for the kids room because it is all colourful and nice, just like this Pinwheel Ceiling Fan by Quorum.
Raised ceilings are often accompanied by more or taller windows…which of course leads to an influx of natural light in the space. As natural light is typically the end-all of great lighting, having more of it is a definite perk attributed to vaulted ceilings. (You may want to consider double glazing the surrounding glass to decrease energy requirements for heating/cooling.
There are several options to explore here. You can either have a fan with a pull chain switch, probably the most common and popular type, a fan that has a wall-mounted control system or one which comes with a remote.
